As the only horseback trail ride facility in northeastern Tennessee, we strive to make your horseback ride a special experience. The trails are well maintained. The 1 hour "Creekside and Mountain Trail" provides a variety of trails and takes you deep into the forest on Iron Mountain.

Longer or short rides can be provided on request.

Our guides will show you how to ride in the mountains while staying safe and enjoying the beauty. Each ride starts with a short hands-on-lesson; the proper techniques for checking your horse and tack, getting on and off safely and handling the horse to make your ride safe and enjoyable.

The northeast Tennessee area has many beautiful features. Watauga Lake is only 2 miles from Dogwood Springs Ranch. You can rent a boat for fishing or just cruise the lake - over 100 miles of shoreline.

The mountains are very beautiful anytime of the year. During spring and summer months the mountains are green and lush. The fall brings cooler weather and the trees burst into gold and red. The trails around the ranch look like gold carpets. During the winter months the the evergreen trees stand tall. When the snow comes, the white dust presents another beautiful sight. Ski resorts are located nearby. And on horseback you get a different perspective of this part of the country.
